Please note: The out-of-hours dentist will only treat genuine emergencies. You are usually required to pay the bill immediately on-site.
When to Call an Emergency Dentist?
You should contact the emergency service when a dental issue is so severe that treatment simply cannot wait until the next day. Immediate action is required in the following situations:
- Post-treatment Bleeding: Heavy bleeding that does not stop after a recent procedure.
- Loose Teeth: Teeth that have become loose due to trauma or advanced disease.
- Broken Teeth: Severe fractures exposing the nerve.
- Unbearable Pain: Acute pain that painkillers cannot suppress.
- Swollen Cheek: Significant swelling caused by a severe bacterial infection.
